School Workshops




Our experienced staff and volunteers are able to come into schools or youth groups and run interactive, fun and creative workshops on a wide range of subjects. A selection of our workshops are below, if you don’t see a suitable session please contact us, there are loads more.

Volunteers helping participants build their very own "Climatizer" to combat climate change

Clash of Cultures….Explore conflict and conflict resolution in this role play simulation

Human Rights and the Transatlantic Slave Trade… Understand the journey of a slave and explore how human rights were breached

Silver Tongues… Think about the ways we use stories to describe our lives and explore the importance of story telling in West Africa

Celebrations and Rituals in East and West Africa… Kick up a storm with dance and mask making whilst exploring their significance in African culture

Human Rights and Wrongs… Take a whirlwind tour of human rights and their breaches around the globe. Why does it happen? How can we stop it?

The Lion’s Den… Learn about the boy who harnessed the wind in Malawi, using ducks instead of insecticides in Thailand and other ways people throughout the world show their resourcefulness. Then make your own invention and take it into the Lion’s Den. Will your classmates think your idea makes the grade?

Trading Vegetables…A class game which allows children to experience the frustrations of unfair trade first hand.
